
Our History Timeline
BizLeadhers is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs and small business founders at early and growth stages through structured incubators, expert guidance ,and peer networks. BizLeadhers supports inclusive and sustainable economic development, helping entrepreneurs strengthen their business foundations and contribute to local job creation and growth. Formerly known as Positive Planet US, BizLeadhers continues its mission with a renewed focus on advancing women’s entrepreneurship. Since launching U.S. operations in 2020, the organization has trained and mentored 43 entrepreneurs domestically, operates as a 95% volunteer-led initiative, and—through its global affiliates—has supported more than 2 million individuals worldwide.

2025
New Name - Same Goal: we launch BizLeadhers, with monthly cohorts and asynchronous learning, we offer a program is flexible, respectful of her time, and powerful in its impact
2024
Building for Scale, work underway to pilot the Online Community and build the foundations of our Platform solution - to solve the problem of access and unlock the power of information to help underserved entrepreneurs find the help they need.
2023
Strategy Reset, we re-envisioned our charter to build a scalable high-impact model (Propel accelerator) that includes long-term support for entrepreneurs (Pacer community) and a tech-enabled innovative solution to ease access to support available in the entrepreneur-enablement ecosystem (Aggregator Platform). Launched a Pilot Cohort with the redesigned Propel accelerator - leveraging Gen AI and with committed support for 3 years post program.
2020-2022
Renamed Positive Planet US, we refocused on serving entrepreneurs in the U.S. by running a business accelerator for underserved entrepreneurs. 3 Cohorts completed with BIPOC/Women entrepreneurs. 50% in STEM businesses, 86% BIPOC and 93% Women entrepreneurs.
2000-2020
Called PlaNet Finance, we operated primarily to fundraise in the US in support of projects in Africa and the Middle East of the Positive Planet Foundation, an international charity headquartered in France.
