BizLeadhers Celebrates Giving Tuesday After a Strong Start to the Season, Sets $10,000Goal to Support Women Entrepreneurs Nationwide

New York, NY — November 26, 2025 — BizLeadhers (formerly Positive Planet US) announced

today the launch of its Giving Tuesday campaign following a strong start to the giving season.

BizLeadhers is a 100% volunteer-led nonprofit that provides training, mentoring, and access to capital for small business founders in underserved communities. Since their inception in 2020, the organization has trained and mentored 43 entrepreneurs in the U.S.

Every donation directly supports a woman entrepreneur at a critical stage of her business

journey. Contributions can range from a $25 donation that introduces her to the program to a $500 contribution that helps her complete the full incubator experience.

“Our early momentum shows the strong belief people have in empowering women to build their own economic futures,” said Astrid Oyo, CEO of BizLeadhers. “Every dollar we raise goes directly to helping a woman launch or grow her business. Giving Tuesday is an opportunity to deepen that impact and open doors for even more entrepreneurs.”

Past cohorts reflect the power of that opportunity:

• Phoebe Yung, founder of doggyday.co and former BCG consultant, used her cohort

experience to strengthen her financial and marketing plans. She credits her mentors with

providing “constructive and concrete feedback” that helped her advance her business.

• Emmy Award–winning journalist and founder of iwoman.tv, Cathleen Trigg-Jones,

refined her business model through the program’s personalized guidance and

mentorship, calling it instrumental in “rethinking possibilities beyond conventional

constraints.”

• Emmy Award–winning filmmaker Lisa Russell, founder of create2030.org, described the

cohort as “invaluable,” helping her narrow ideas, build a roadmap, and launch a

business concept aligned with her strengths and passions.

These alumni experiences illustrate the impact of targeted entrepreneurial support, enabling

women to advance more quickly, strengthen their business foundations, and make meaningful contributions to their local economies.

BizLeadhers encourages individuals, partners, and community leaders to join its growing

network of supporters. Reaching the $10,000 Giving Tuesday goal will expand the
